Agemba version 1.13 has been released containing some noteworthy changes!

Following Changes

It is now possible to choose to follow specific items in Agemba, either as an individual or collectively as a team. Following an item can be done while creating it or from its context menu, via right click or menu icon. Doing so will ensure that the individual or the team members see all changes in their personal activity feed on the Dashboard. Moreover, followed items will be listed on the Dashboard. Read more.

Adding Jira Issues directly in Agemba

For those working with Jira integrated Agemba Circles, it is now possible to add an existing Jira Issue, using its Jira Key, while in the Circle. This can be done in a very much similar way as when Epics or Stories are created i.e. via right click or menu icon. More on Agemba Jira Integration here.

User roles and licenses re-worked

In order to communicate more clearly about what different users can and cannot do, the user roles for both Circle and Site have been redefined, as have the required user licenses. Read more about Circle roles, Site roles and License levels.

…and a lot more

Numerous minor improvements and fixes have been made since the last release, in particular in the recently update Outline view.

You can always consult the icons to see help videos and texts. If you have any questions as to how to use these new features, then please contact the support team.

Agemba version 1.12 has been released containing a lot of exciting changes!

Outline view revamped

This is the highlight of this release. Releases and Sprints are plotted into the timeline, to match with their start and end dates. Optionally, Kanban Lanes and Preplanned Lists can also be shown and their planned items too. The cards used to represent these planning containers are identical in appearance to that seen in the Product and Sprint Backlog views. Cards that are planned to any of the containers are marked with indicator lines and icons for milestone relations and deadline date indicators are displayed as well. In contrast to the outdated Outline view, the timeline utilizes the full height of the view and can thus be panned or zoomed anywhere within that area.

Chart rendering and information improved

Chart rendering and the information displayed on them have been improved to make them more useful and easy to understand. Several different charts can be shown for Releases and Sprints as seen below:

Charts on the dashboard

Charts can now be configured to be shown in dashlets on the Dashboard. A Dashboard page has been preconfigured to show Release and Sprint charts and can be selected from the Dashboard.

Editing Dashboard

While this is not a new feature, editing a Dashboard has been experienced by many to be a complicated procedure. With this update, that has been addressed and it can be done in a more user-friendly way; as can also be seen from the illustration below:

Agemba version 1.10 has been released and with it comes a number of highly useful new features!

Deadlines and planning warnings

Specific required when deadlines can now be set for stories and epic, when a story has to be done and a certain date (and creating a separate milestones seems like to much). This data along with other contributions such as milestone relations, release planning, etc are then used to determine an effective deadline. If the planning of the story is in conflict with the deadline, the story is tagged with a warning displayed as an exclamation triangle. This also works when delegating stories or epics to another circle: if a story is planned and then delegated, the planned date will be the delegated deadline of the story in the other circle.

Subscribe to milestones from other circles in the Roadmap

Milestones can now be shared among circles. If circle X has created a common milestone, other circles can add this milestone to their Roadmap by subscribing to it. The milestone is still maintained in the original circle, but can be used in multiple circles and comments can be shared among users in all circles.

Inspect the impact of stories using the Impact Map

In the Storymap, the impact of a story can be displayed as an overlay for the selected card. This will show the planning and relations of the story as cards next to the story card.

You can always consult the icons to see help videos and texts. If you have any questions as to how to use these new features, then please contact the support team.

In release 1.5.0 of Agemba the most noteworthy change is a completely new Product Backlog design:

  • Cards are now styled like those shown in the Storymap tree
  • All cards can be selected and shown in the right pane overview
  • The list of unplanned stories formerly shown to the right has been replaced by a filterable and sortable list to the left, which is intended to give a better overview of the yet unplanned stories
  • An epic can now be shown in the left pane input view (instead of the list), which will show all stories below this epic. This facilitates planning all stories below a given epic, thus combining the functional hierarchy from the Storymap with the planning perspective of the Product Backlog
  • A new type of list, Preplanned list, has been introduced, which are shown after all your releases. This allows preplanning a story, i.e. grouping stories in a list without being specific about which release date they are planned for. In the next version of agemba, it will be possible to convert a preplanned list to a release.

If you have any questions as to how to use this new Product Backlog, then please contact the support team
