Risk can be used to formulate something that you want to avoid or mitigate. A risk can have both a description and can be assigned a value or a kano type. The counterpart to a risk is an objective.
A number of stories or epics can be linked to a risk. This means that completing these stories will mitigate this risk. For the advanced use, it is also possible to quantify this mitigation with a percentage value, i.e. “this story mitigates the risk with 35% (worst-case only 25%)“
Risks can be viewed and managed primarily from the Storymap view and will often also be included in the Roadmap.
